Chris Daughtry turns down Fuel

American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry has rejected an offer of a lifetime from rock bank Fuel. Fuel had made Chris an offer on the TV show Extra to be their new lead singer when he was voted off the show. Chris tell The Charlotte Observer:

I’m going to be doing my own thing.

Chris will announce the next step in his singing career in the coming months after he fulfills his commitment with the American Idol concert tours.

Chris would have replaced Brett Scallions on Fuel. I bet Chris knew the only reason Fuel ask was to use him and his fame from being on American Idol.

Can it really be, Colin Farrell the wild man has settle down with girlfriend of two month Lake Bell? In this photograph of Farrell and two of his fans you can clearly see the wedding band firmly in place on the wedding finger. Actress Lindsay Lohan must be getting over her head with her stardom. According to In Touch magazine, Lindsay isn’t happy with the apology she got from Brandon Davis for calling her a fire crotch with an seven feet clitoris.

The lovely couple Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz have confirmed that they are really over. We had initially hinted that this might be true back in January of this year. The couple have decided to separate and spend some time apart after dating for a year. The two issued the following statement:

have decided to take time off as a couple. Due to busy work schedules and so much time apart, they mutually decided four weeks ago that separating was the best thing to do at this time,

Looks like to balance out the universe with all those celebrities having babies recently, one celebrity couple has to end their relationship. A source tells People magazine the couple most likely separated due to not being able to be together.

They’re very good friends, but they haven’t been able to be together. Who knows what the future holds.

Get Brad Pitt out of Namibia

Brad Pitt is getting a little home sick living in Namibia. Brad miss all those good food at expensive five star restaurants and also the freedom to walk out and grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks. A source tells Star magazine:

They are cooped up in the hotel, the food isn’t great and he doesn’t like the heat. He seems thoroughly depressed and I think he misses Malibu.

Angelina is unhappy because he won’t go along with her plans. She is so passionate about Namibia and wants Brad to be too, but you get the feeling he just has a yearning to put down some roots. Going to Africa was bizarre for him.

Luckily for Brad, he’s got an excuse to leave real soon, for the filming of Oceans 13 which will start real soon. I bet Brad also miss living in his million dollar mansion in Malibu.

We first reported back in May that Anna Nicole Smith was with child, while she denied she was pregnant to the world. Fast forward to June and she has totally changed her initial denial by saying she is on her website:

The father is celebrity photojournalist Larry Birkhead, who tells TMZ:

No need to feel sad for Katharine McPhee not winning the American Idol title. That’s because Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have asked her to sing at their wedding. Their relationship first started when Katie met Katharine and her boyfriend at the Church of Scientology in Los Angeles.

After McPhee lost out to Taylor Hicks in the Idol finale last week, the celebrity couple got in touch with the California girl and asked her to perform at their wedding ceremony.

A source close to the couple says, “Tom and Katie have become Katharine’s biggest fans. They think she’s destined to become a singing legend.”

And Cruise’s War of the Worlds director Steven Spielberg is also a big McPhee fan–he has set up a meeting with the Idol star to discuss a possible future in films.

Maybe we should feel bad that she’s getting sucked in by Tom just like Katie has been.
