Update: The new Bond girl role went to Thandie Newton.
Meet the new Bond girl for the upcoming Casino Royale. Rose Byrne will be playing the spy Vesper Lynd. Its reported that she will be officially announce this Friday.
You all may have seen her opposite Brad Pitt in Troy and also in the movie Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones .
All the actresses had to perform a bedroom scene with Daniel where Bond says he is leaving the service to be with Vesper Lynd. Barbara Broccoli was particularly impressed by Rose.
