Here are some funny/memorable moments that I think took place at the 2005 Emmy Awards. I will also be updating this as the show goes.

Donald Trump and Megan Mullally singing the theme song to Green Acre for the Emmy Idol competition. Emmy Idol like the American Idol but the singers are famous people singing the theme songs to shows. Near the end of the show people will be able to vote for the best Emmy Idol at cbs.com

The Blue Men Group announcing the winner of the Reality/Competition Program. Their head are television sets. Pretty cool.
09:08 p.m. EST
Dave Letterman honoring the late Johnny Carson for his work in television. Some flashback to some of Johnny Carson’s Late Show.

Tribute to news reporter Peter Jenning, Tom Brokaw, and Dan Rather.
10:54 p.m. EST
Winner of the Emmy Idol goes to Donald Trump and Megan Megan Mullally.
