Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone wanted disturbing sex scenes in the sequel Basic Instinct 2. Sharon knew that the sequel should contain scenes that would shock the viewers and let director Michael Caton-Jones know. Sharon told the Evening Standard newspaper:

I felt we should hold off on the full nudity for a while in the movie and then I thought that when I ultimately did do the nude scene it should be done in a startling way that would be disturbing and threatening.

I wanted to do the nudity in a way that’s quite brazen. I wanted her to be very masculine, like a man in a steam room. I wanted the audience to have a moment where they realize she’s naked and then realize she’s a forty-something woman and naked.

Sharon’s reasoning behind this was logical, she wanted to do this because this might be the last time she bare it all on film. We all know she loves getting naked in front of the camera for all to see. Or can it all be, Sharon is just one kinky blonde?
