Britney Spears is once again rushed to the hospital again, not for any kind of baby emergency. This time its for stupidity, she apparently stepped on a hypodermic needle when she got out of her car barefooted while in Hawaii. Luckily the needle were tested and found to have been unused after Britney was rushed to the hospital terrified. A source tells the Daily Star newspaper:

Britney is going to be fine. She’s got a nasty cut but it’s been disinfected and dressed and she’s been released from hospital.

It was more the shock of seeing the needle poking out of her foot – as you can imagine. All sorts of things race through your mind in that situation. The conclusion we would all jump to is that it was discarded by a drug user.

Let this be a lesson for Britney, wear your damn shoes. Maybe this will be the last time we see her walking barefooted into a public bathroom.

Jay Leno

Late night funny man Jay Leno has since apologized for a sketch comparing Vice President Dick Cheney’s hunting accident to a 2003 Los Angeles shooting outside a courthouse. A friend of the courthouse shooting victim Gerald Curry sent a letter to Jay about how offensive it was and told him to do the right thing. In a few days after sending the letter, Jay called the letter writer Wendy Brogin and said:

Hello, Wendy, this is Jay Leno. I’m calling about the letter you wrote and I want to apologize. I just want to let you know we make mistakes sometimes and we don’t mean to hurt people.

Guess Jay realized it isn’t really funny to make fun of people who were killed.

Dell computer good for porno. Not real, but still funny.

Natalie Portman

The raunchy scenes that Natalie Portman did for the movie Closer has been burned by director Mike Nichols. Nichols revealed the reason he torched the film strip was to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. And when he say wrong hand, we assume he means all those internet porn sites. Portman tells Vanity Fair magazine:

I will not allow myself to be on a porn site… I don’t want to be used by someone else for turning me into something that I’m not. But I was doing everything because I knew that Mike was going to get my permission about everything and show me everything and talk to me. He was like: ‘That stuff’s going to be burned if we don’t use it.’

Director Nichols must not know there are DVD and that those unused scenes could have been put into those DVD. With those scenes the DVD would have sold a lot more.
