• Jolie has not signed on for Tomb Raider 3 and has no plans to play video-game heroine Lara Croft any time soon.
• Pitt is not trying to convince Jolie to join the cast of Ocean’s 13. (Sorry, George.)
• Jolie is not looking to adopt a Namibian infant – at least not right now.
• The actress is not planning a “water birth” for the couple’s baby-to-be, or to name the baby Africa.
• Jolie’s ill mom, Marcheline Bertrand, is not near death and did not ask Jolie to give birth in France as a “dying wish.”
• Pitt did not purchase for Jolie a “fidelity necklace” as a pre-baby wedding gift. In fact they currently have no plans to marry.
• Finally, Jolie is not planning to buy a small African nation of her own.

Lindsay Lohan

Director Brett Ratner should have picked up his phone and avoided this whole mess. After not being able to reach Brett, Lindsay Lohan decided to pay him a visit with a friend. And wind up walking in on Brett and his girlfriend, Romanian model Alina Puscau.

Brett wasn’t returning any of her calls, so she decided to stop by and say hi. Brett never told Lindsay he had a girlfriend. She had no idea, he is constantly e-mailing, texting and calling her. She just wanted to hang out. He had given her the code to his house and told her to come over anytime, so she went.

It gets better. Another source says:

Alina jumped out of bed and went ballistic, they started screaming at each other and took the fight first into the living room and then out to the driveway while Brett hid in the bedroom.

David Blaine’s latest publicity stunt is underway in New York City. This stunt Blaine is handcuffed to a 150 pound heavy chain while submerged in a 8 feet wide globe filled with water. His only life line is a breathing mask and a feeding tube. Blaine says:

So basically besides holding my breath for about nine minutes hopefully I will have to escape from all these chains, and if not I will drown and the world will see something pretty insane.

It will be insane to see him die on live TV.

Another day and another breakup story between Paris Hilton and Stavros Niarchos III. it was only recently when Paris threw a surprised 21st birthday celebration for Stavros. During the celebration a guest recalls:

Stavros did back flips into the pool and jumped from one end to the other. Everyone gasped and begged him not to continue because his stunts looked dangerous.

This time the split looks to be real. When the rep for Paris was asked about the split, his response was:

I thought I saw Paris on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday and heard her talk about being with Stavros. How one day and everything changes.

Angelina Jolie is planning to give birth to Brad Pitt child in a water tank at the Welwitschia Hospital in Namibia, Africa. A nurse at the hospital says:

It will be natural and beautiful. Instead of a man like Brad being pushed into the corner of the delivery room, he will be part of the birth process.

If you don’t know want a water birth is, you don’t need to look any further. A water birth is a form of giving birth in warm water. The warm water is relaxing and helps the mother relaxes her muscles for an easier birth. The baby enters the world in a smoother transition.

The couple already knows the sex of their baby, according to a friend who told the Sunday Express:

They know the sex of their baby, though they’re trying to keep that a secret. But they both think Africa would suit a boy or a girl.

It’s exotic and mysterious – just like the continent where the baby will be born.

Rosie O’Donnell

Its official Rosie O’Donnell is taking over the job of Meredith Vieira on the show The View. This will mark Rosie’s return to television since ending her talk show in 2001. Rosie will replace Meredith starting in September, when Meredith leaves for the Today show on NBC.

After much media speculation in recent days, including reports on the entertainment television show “Extra” and in The New York Post, Ms. Walters and Ms. O’Donnell confirmed her new job during the broadcast of the “Daytime Emmy Awards” on ABC.

“I’m sorry to interrupt your big award, but I just read something on the Internet I wanted to talk to you about,” Ms. O’Donnell said to Ms. Walters at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, just after Ms. Walters had presented a lifetime achievement award to Carroll Spinney of “Sesame Street.”

Ms. Walters, an executive producer of “The View,” told the audience that she indeed wanted Ms. O’Donnell to join the show, five years after Ms. O’Donnell ended her own talk show.

Michelle Rodriguez

The drunken Lost star Michelle Rodriguez has pleaded guilty to drinking and driving. When a judge gave her the option of doing community service or going to jail, she picked being locked up. The reason for this, says her lawyer Steve Barta was:

I would suspect that because she has a hard time even going out for a meal without being intruded upon for an autograph or photograph, it’s really difficult for her to do community service.

In reality, Rodriguez will only have to serve three days in jail, with the judge giving her credit for one day served when she was detained after the initial arrest. The judge had also given her the minimum fine for a repeat offender, as opposed to the maximum fine of $1,500 and 14 days in jail the prosecutors were going after.
