It’s all downhill for Oscar winner Tom Hanks. After staring in over 40 films, Hanks knows his luck is going to run out just like the past big stars. Tom also goes on to say:

I look around and know that I am going to pay for it, big time. The knives will be out one day. There are quite a few people no longer getting hired who were big stars as recently as 10 years ago. So I’ve already overstayed my welcome. Someone is going to turn round and say: ‘See – you are not such a smarty-pants after all, are you?’ And although I know that many actors say they’ve had luck, I’ve had more than my share. I’ve had it by the bucketload.

Don’t think Hanks has anything to worry about. There’s no way he will be lumps in the same list as Paris Hilton.

Can this be the time? It is being reported in The Sun that Brad Pitt bought a pair of Cartier wedding rings.

Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be having a very nontraditional wedding. The Buddhist-style wedding will take place at his Malibu mansion and will not be legally binding. The wedding will involve a priest overseeing the exchange of rings.

A source close to the couple says, “They’ll not be having a traditional wedding ceremony, basically due to the fact they both had them in previous relationships.”

The West Wing just lost a star in actor John Spencer who died of a heart attack at 58. John won an Emmy Award for his role on The West Wing in 2002. Oddly enough, in the show he plays Leo McGarry who also suffered from a heart attack. He will be miss.

Brad Pitt has lay down the law when it comes to ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and his mother Jane Pitt. Brad became enraged after learning Jen called his mom to ask if he was really going to adopt Angelina Jolie’s children.

After learning this, Brad told his mom to never ever speak to Jen again. The source also says “He believes his life with Angelina is none of Jen’s business, and she has no right to meddle.”

Us Weekly is the first to report that singer Ashlee Simpson, 21, is currently in a Tokyo hospital after collapsing yesterday following an MTV Japan performance. The singer, whose album I Am Me, debuted at Number 1 last month, had just performed the album’s title track before the audience when she told the crowd she felt unwell, and said to them, ‘I love you guys.’ She then collapsed in an elevator at MTV Japan and was rushed by ambulance to an undisclosed hospital where she has remained. Her publicist, Rob Shuter, confirmed the hospitalization to Us, but no further details. The singer has been on a strenuous tour schedule supporting her critically-lauded comeback album. ‘She’s wanted to prove over and over to her fans that she can perform live after what happened on SNL last year,’ says one source. The singer’s performance at the Radio Music Awards on Monday has been canceled, and her family is currently waiting for a diagnosis before deciding whether to fly to Japan, or have Simpson return to the States. One source says the likely diagnosis will be exhaustion.
