We have a new Miss America and its Miss Oklahoma Jennifer Berry. Besides the title Jennifer Berry is going to take home $30,000 in college scholarship, which is $20,000 less than last year. The lower scholarship amount is due to the fact Miss America wasn’t being broadcast on the major television network. The title of Miss Congeniality went to Miss Hawaii Malika Dudley.

Singer Wyclef Jean sent a television message to his Haitian people before super couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt visited the island last weekend. He urged his fellow Haitians not to kidnap the stars while they were at the island. Wyclef says the following:

The kidnapping is crazy. (There were) 30 kidnappings per day the previous weekend. Listen, I Got Angelina Jolie Here, I got Brad Pitt here. Please do not embarrass me this weekend. The whole weekend went by and there was not one kidnapping.

Apparently the singer has some power in the country where kidnapping is as common as going to work. Even if the gangs didn’t listen and tried to kidnap the two, I think they would have to get pass all the guards that were always around them.

Britney Spears husband wants to open up a new business. Kevin Federline is planning to open a new nightclub in sin city Las Vegas. In Touch magazine reports:

The last place Britney wants Kevin to be spending his nights is in a nightclub, even if he’s the owner. But he thinks it will be a gold mine and that he’ll make millions.

This new career plan from Kevin is a backup plan for when his career as a rapper doesn’t take off. And by certain account, it looks like the rapping career will not take off at all. Why doesn’t Kevin just get a job as Mr. Nanny to their son Sean Preston? On second thought that’s not going to be good for the little tot.

The bulletproof rapper 50 Cent has announce that he will be retiring from rapping after two more albums. 50 Cent says:

I can tell you now you’re only gonna get two more albums from me. I’m gonna fulfil my album requirements, with Shady Aftermath records, and then I’m not sure what I’m gonna do. I’m not sure I’m gonna be working in films afterwards. I think I wanna stay in the music business, just behind the scenes.
