It’s been four years since this tragic event took place. From the first plane crashing into the north tower at 8:45 a.m. to the second plane crashing into the south tower at 9:03 a.m. We all can remember seeing the south tower collapsing down to the streets below at 10:05 a.m. and the north tower at 10:28 a.m. CNN has a more detail chronology of the events that unfolded on September 11, 2001. The events that unfolded that day was surreal, it just didn’t look like it was happening in real life, but looks like it was from one of Hollywood’s blockbuster movie.
As years passes by more and more people have started to forget the day when the Twin Towers were bought down by two terrorist attack. You can see this happening when you lived in NYC as I was fortunate enough to have. After a certain amount of time everything just seems to go back to the way it was, this maybe a good thing but it can also be a bad thing.
I can still remember when I first moved to the the Big Apple, there were security everywhere you go and people seem to be more considerate of each other. Flash back to the present day , people are just plain nasty once again and the only time you will see any kind of security is if there is an announcement of some kind of terror alert.
As Bush puts it “America is a strong and resilient nation,” he is right about that, we bounce back from September 11, we will also bounce back from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
It just seems like every time Bush wins the election there is always some tragic event that happens to the United States. After winning the first election, September 11 happens and after winning the reelection, Hurricane Katrina happens. This can all be a coincidence or could it be all attributed to the curse that Bush has?
