We like Perez Hilton aka Mario Lavendeira, but sometimes we can’t figure that guy out. Its never good business as a gossip gangsta to be rating out your rats. This started when Page Six editor Richard Johnson was arrested for driving while intoxicated and Perez was the first to break the story. Wondering where he got the tip from, while it was from Page Six’s own Chris Wilson.

On the media shuttle bus over to Saturday night’s MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles, another journalist (and ANIMAL’s source for the story) congratulated Perez on being the first to report Page Six editor Richard Johnson’s DUI arrest. Perez accepted the compliment, then boastfully told our mole that Chris Wilson, Page Six’s hangover-happy foot soldier, was who he received the tip from just a few hours after Johnson was released from the drunk tank.

There’s nothing wrong with rating out the boss, but rating out the rat, now that’s just a rat move. Now if all this is true, we want to know what Perez has on Chris and what the gossip Mafia boss Richard is going to do to the two rats.

Update:
Perez would never rat his sources out. We knew Perez wouldn’t really stoop that low as to reveal his source and his livelihood as a gossip gangsta.
