Jake Gyllenhaal must be confused with his sexuality. On an interview with the Daily Mail UK, Jake basically says he spends a lot of time on the floor of men’s bathroom (translation GAY GAY GAY).

Daily Mail: Who would you like to be stuck in an elevator with?

Jake: I know this isn’t quite the same, but I was stuck in a woman’s bathroom once with Susan Sarandon. She was interviewing me for a magazine and we couldn’t find a battery for our recording device so we ended up in a woman’s bathroom.

I discovered two things that day: that the floor in a woman’s bathroom is colder than the floor in the men’s. And, believe me, I’ve spent a lot of time on the floor of a men’s bathroom so I should know! And women pee louder than men do, even though we might expect not. Maybe it’s just American women? I don’t know.

Now the Daily Mail UK has pictures of Jake with Reese Witherspoon holding hands during a trip to Rome confirming their togetherness and dispelling rumors of Jake’s gayness or confirming he bats for both sides.

The pair met on set of the upcoming movie Rendition and have now taken their romance public – they were spotted holding hands and canoodling during a romantic trip to Rome.

The pair first began dating around March this year, although they were careful to avoid being photographed together.

However, Reese, who has two children Ava, 8, and Deacon, 3, called the romance off in June, according to reports.

Now it’s clear their love affair is most definitely back on.

Something doesn’t add up here, this might all be some publicity stunt for their new movie Rendition which isn’t doing too good at the box office. Or maybe Jake’s just making the other guy jealous. There you go, that explains it all.
