Spice Girl spice up Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
The over the hill girl group, Spice Girls, performed at the 12th Annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. This is the first time in ten years the girls got together and performed or lip-synced their way on stage. The group performed two songs, Stop and Headlines (Friendship Never Ends).
In the audience, anticipation was also running high. Lauren Conrad of The Hills admitted that the Spice Girls’ performance was her “main reason” for attending. A giddy Eva Longoria was also ready to root them on. “I’m here to support Victoria,” she said. “Go Spice Girls!”
“I was dancing and singing along. I loved it,” raved Hayden Panettiere. “The Spice Girls were great. I knew every word to the first song. Enough said.”
“They looked hot!” added Ryan Seacrest. “I’m looking forward to hearing the album and seeing the full show.”
The Spice Girls must not really be ready to perform publicly after a decade hiatus with the girls lip-syncing their first televised reunion. If I wanted to see lips moving to sound I would turn on my DVD and fire up some kung fu movies or even watch Ashlee Simpson’s spectacular SNL performance.
