Police Want to Question Kate Moss

Kate Moss Cocaine use

The police wants Kate Moss to return to Britain so they can question her about the cocaine snorting incident last year. Tarique Ghaffur, the Assistant Commissioner of the London police says:

We would like to appeal for her to return, see us, and tell us her side of the story. For everybody’s sake, and for her to move on, the sooner she speaks to us the better. The mother-of-one would be dealt with fairly and proportionately as would be the case with anybody else. What we have done so far is conducted searches of the studios where the matter was filmed, in addition to obtaining the full digital recording of the incident which is currently being closely studied by the investigative team.

Can this be a trap the police is setting up to catch Kate? Have Moss come in for questioning and all of a sudden she has handcuffs put on her and sent to the stockade.

I didn’t realise it was the job of the MET, and Assistant Commissioner Tarique Ghaffur, to run a media liason force as opposed to a police force. Since when did it become the job of the police to ask people to come in for questioning via the media? I’m biases, yes, because Kate Moss is on Rogue Connect’s hot list, but I’d really like to know when it became the duty of the police to inform the media of the goings-on of high profile cases as opposed to just saying ‘no comment’ until after the matter has been resolved.
