Oprah and Letterman Friends Again
Oprah Winfrey does David Letterman and you all can see it Dec. 1. The truce between Oprah and David has been in the making for many years. Coincidentally this is also the same night the premiere of the Broadway musical production of “The Color Purple,” which she is producing.
Letterman made the annoucement on last nights taping of the Late Show.
What a big night that is going to be not only for us, not only for Oprah, but for Broadway,” Letterman said. “You have the big `Color Purple’ Broadway opening, and then right across the street here in this theater, you have Oprah appearing here. I mean, that’s what Broadway is all about it’s a street of dreams.
After hearing Oprah is coming on his show Letterman must have been a child in a candy store knowing his show needs all the help it can get.
Lets hope Oprah isn’t the butt of Letterman’s joke this time around.
