In a twist of events, Jessica Simpson may have to pay millions to Nick Lachey to end their marriage. Looks like Jessica’s Joe Simpson’s Plans of not signing a prenuptial is going to bite Jessica’s bank account in the ass.

It’s reported that Nick originally had the prenuptial ready and wanted to have Jessica sign it, but she refused to sign it. Because Nick truly loved Jessica, he agree she didn’t need to sign it. And it looks like Jessica Joe had other plans, their plan of getting half of Nick’s fortune is gonna be the other way around now.

Under California law, since the couple did not sign a prenup, earnings during the marriage are divided 50/50. If the couple doesn’t settle out of court, Nick would be entitled to tens of millions of Jessica’s earnings during their three years of wedlock.
