Jennifer Hudson forgets Idol roots
After becoming famous and winning many awards for her role on the movie the DreamGirls, Jennifer Hudson starting to talk trash about American Idol. Jennifer is now telling Essence magazine how “abusive” her stay on American Idol was.
On American Idol, you go through this mental thing; you’ve got to get yourself back together. You’ve been abused, misled and brainwashed to believe whatever they want you to think. You become a character – I became the girl in the turkey wrapping. I just knew I had to sing my way out of it. I don’t believe in looking back, and I didn’t look back.
How easily one forgets the people who help them become famous. Don’t these people remember if it wasn’t for Idol their ass would still be somewhere flipping burgers or wrapping burritos at Taco Bell.
