Jennifer Garner rejected Tom Cruise and Scientology
Back in 2004, Jennifer Garner made what turned out to be a great when she turned down a date from Tom Cruise. According to Andrew Morton’s book, Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography, Jennifer was someone he tried to brainwashed into his cult religion.
Morton writes that Cruise left messages on the Alias star’s voice mail in 2004 asking “if she knew what freedom was,” but his advances were rebuffed.
The book also claims Holmes signed a contract to commit to Scientology and that her father brokered a high-paying pre-nup.
Tom must have found another pick-up line to use on current wife Katie after figuring out asking a girl, “if she knew what freedom was,” wasn’t going to cut it. He’ll probably have a better chance using my sure fire way of getting a reaction line, “Show me the breast.”
