Getting Paid To Drink Starbucks
According to a report, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are on the payroll of Starbucks Coffee Co. They are being pay seven figures to drink, be photograph with it in hand, and just all around promote the latte everywhere they go. Lowdown insider says:
It’s a relatively new deal. And considering how often they are photographed with the stuff, I’d say they’re working pretty hard.
Both Affleck and Starbucks say this is not real. Ken Sunshine sent an email on Affleck behave that says:
No contract with Starbucks. Maybe Ben likes Starbucks and is willing to ignore the morons who spend their life waiting to take the same photo every day of him drinking coffee.
Starbucks has the following to say:
We would never be in the business of establishing contracts with celebrities to use our product. We work with producers and filmmakers and TV studios, but we don’t pay for play, so to speak. We appreciate Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s loyalty, but our product placement is organic.
Maybe there is something to this story. So many celebrities are seen with the Starbucks cup in hand every where they go.
