Federer Defeats Agassi

In the finals of the U.S. Open, Roger Federer defeats Andre Agassi to win his second straight U.S. Open and his sixth Grand Slam title.

It was a very close game with Agassi leading after the second set, but eventually fell to Federer in the late third set and getting blown away in the final forth set. Federer wins with a score of 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 (1), 6-1 and increase his record in finals to 23-0.

After the match the two men, who highly respect each other, shook hands warmly by the net.

I thought Agassi was going to pull an upset and become the oldest to win the U.S. Open, maybe next year.
