If O.J. Simpson gets his way he will be the next apprentice on Donald Trump’s highly rated NBC show The Celebrity Apprentice. Your probably thinking no way, this can’t be true, but according to Page Six this might actually happen.

“Simpson really wants to do it. Trump and NBC are thinking about it, but are being very cautious,” our source said. “There’s a certain amount of heat associated with Simpson.”

This will only happen when NBC knows there would be no backlash from having the “creepy double-murder acquittee” on TV. Imagine one of the task is to see which team can sell the most knives, I bet Simpson’s team win hands down.

Barbara Walters has officially announced that Whoopi Goldberg will replace Rosie O’Donnell as the new moderator for The View and will start her new gig after Labor Day. Walters issue the following statement:

She is brilliant, funny and irrepressible, and is an enormously popular and talented star. We are delighted that she is going to join the program as our moderator. This is going to be a great new chapter for ‘The View.

After the departure of Lisa Ling and Star Jones Reynolds its good to see some new color as oppose to the plain vanilla most recently. I can just see it now, Elisabeth Hasselbeck going to start talking about how good George Bush has been to this country and Whoopi breaking out some whoop ass never seen since the whole O’Donnell vs. Hasselbeck episode.

Kevin will be part of “The Mob”, on an episode that’s potentially worth $3 million for the winner. he’ll be seated on the 13th seat, which was formally Ken Jenning’s seat before he missed a roulette question in the second episode.

Michael Jackson is set to perform a recreation of his hit Thriller video at the World Music Awards at the London’s Earls Court. This recreation will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the album Thriller. A source has say Jackson will definitely perform:

Jackson has definitely told organisers he will be performing. His dancers have already started rehearsals. He will close the show with ‘Thriller’. It will be a complete recreation of the video.

I have a feeling this won’t be the same as the original video. At least with all the makeup to turn into a zombie, Michael will look better than he does in a long time.

Carolyn Kepcher one time The Apprentice judge has now officially been on the receiving end of Donald Trump’s famous You’re Fired catch phrase.

The icy, 36-year-old blonde – who was running the Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff in Westchester and helping supervise the Trump National in Bedminster, N.J. – was let go earlier this week.

“She became a prima donna,” said one insider. “Being on ‘The Apprentice’ went to her head. She was no longer focused on business. She was giving speeches for $25,000 and doing endorsements.”

We have a feeling the real reason for the firing is Trump is a little jealous one of his puppets getting $25,000 for a speaking engagement. But, its more likely Carolyn just didn’t care about her job anymore when she didn’t even know the prices of items at the golf course she was supervising.

The idea for this actually came from the criticism that ‘Survivor’ was not ethnically diverse enough. Because, for whatever reason, we’ve always had a low number of minority applicants apply to the show. So we set out and said, ‘Let’s turn this criticism into creative for the show. I think it fits in perfectly with what ‘Survivor’ does — it is a social experiment. And this is adding another layer to that experiment, which is taking the show to a completely different level.

American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry has rejected an offer of a lifetime from rock bank Fuel. Fuel had made Chris an offer on the TV show Extra to be their new lead singer when he was voted off the show. Chris tell The Charlotte Observer:

I’m going to be doing my own thing.

Chris will announce the next step in his singing career in the coming months after he fulfills his commitment with the American Idol concert tours.

Chris would have replaced Brett Scallions on Fuel. I bet Chris knew the only reason Fuel ask was to use him and his fame from being on American Idol.

The Today show says goodbye to Katie Couric after 15 years of service on the NBC show. The last show for Couric was also an emotional one for co-host Matt Lauer:

Plunking a box of tissues on the desk, Lauer said to Couric, “This isn’t for you. It’s for me.”

“I’m feeling happy and sad and completely out of control, and you know how much I like that,” Couric told Lauer, who noted that his outgoing partner is “a control freak.”
