With the release of the all new iPod with video playback, nasty videos are about to be more portable. I can see this as the next big thing. Imagine sitting at traffic jam and have nothing to do but watch some porn on your video iPod. Now all I have to do is come up with the directory of X-rated video where people can buy from.

The Internet accounted for $2.5 billion of the adult industry’s $14 billion in U.S. revenues last year, about the same as revenues from cable and satellite pay-per-view showings, according to Adult Video News, a trade magazine.

Who here wants to make some homemade ones and have it in the directory. You know you want to. There’s money to be made in video iPod porn or just iPorn.

You all seen the cardboard house homeless people make to live in, now you can own your very own homeless designed version of a computer case made of cardboard. This environment friendly computer case is made by the Japanese company Lupo for the eco geeks out there.

Before you go and get your own cardboard computer case make sure you also get a fire extinguisher. And remember to keep the computer away from water and don’t put anything on top of it. Better yet, you should put the cardboard case inside a case of it’s own.

The new iPod sibling will feature a 30GB version and a 60 GB version of music and video storage and sport two colors, black and white.

On top of this news, Apple also plans to have 2,000 music video price at $1.99 ready to be downloaded by the time the Video iPod comes out next week. Whats next, downloadable movies as soon as it is release? I can see it now, people who bought and watch the movie at the theater have the option of also buying a downloaded copy for their Video iPod.

The 30 GB version should cost $299 (£170) and the 60 GB version $399

The video-playing iPod has a 2.5 inch (6.35cm) colour screen that is 320 by 240 pixels in size.

Mr Jobs said the 30 GB iPod should be able to store 75 hours’ worth of video and the 60 GB version twice that.

I wonder if its really eliminate cost and boost revenue or is it because their revenue are slipping due to less computers being sold? There comes a point where people don’t need a new computer due to the fact that most older computers being able to run newer softwares.

You can still get your Dell computer ship for free if you are willing to go to your local post office and pick up the computer yourself. This can be good for most people because they don’t have to be home waiting for the computer but can just go to the post office and pick it up at their convenient within 10 days. Now all Dell needs to do is tell people free delivery is not really free home delivery.

The prototype for this machine will be showcase in November at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) in Tunisia. This laptop will feature a hand crank so there will be no need for electrical outlets. Imagine cranking the laptop for five minutes and be able to use the machine for 30 minutes. Having a major sponsor like Google doesn’t hurt either. So I can see this sub $100 laptop to be the wave of the future. With this laptop you don’t need to pay any electricity to run it and surf internet for free using the soon to be Google Wi-Fi network. With Google in the picture you can bet this machine can do a lot more like, they should just call this baby the “Gtop” or “Google Top.”

The laptops will be encased in rubber to make them more durable, and their AC adaptors will also act as carrying straps.

The Linux-based machines are expected to have a 500MHz processor, with flash memory instead of a hard drive which has more delicate moving parts.

They will have four USB ports, and will be able to connect to the net through wi-fi – wireless net technology – and will be able to share data easily.

It will also have a dual-mode display so that it can still be used in varying light conditions outside. It will be a colour display, but users will be able to switch easily to monochrome mode so that it can be viewed in bright sunlight, at four times normal resolution.

When Professor Negroponte saw the benefits of donated notebook PCs that Cambodian children could carry around with them, he immediately set about planning the sub-$100 machines.

The next generation DVD format created by Toshiba gets the support of Microsoft and Intel. I would have predicted this was going to happen with Microsoft’s new video game system Xbox 360 is about to do battle with Sony’s PlayStation 3 in a couple of months. This announcement is great news for Toshiba’s HD-DVD format, who is losing momentum to Sony’s Blu-Ray. With the addition of the powerful Wintel muscle HD-DVD might stand a chance against Sony’s format.

Coming soon to a DVD near you, the battle of Blu-Ray vs. HD-DVD. With fierce competition only good things will come out for the consumers. Got to love competition when you are the consumer.

The new iPod Nano will be available in two versions, 2GB and 4GB capacities for US$199 and $249 respectively, and in two colors, black or white designs. The iPod nano weighs 1.5 ounces and is so thin that a standard #2 pencil will be thicker. The Nano uses flash memory which allow the iPod to have a battery life of 14 hours.

It also features the same 30-pin dock connector as the iPod and iPod mini, making the nano compatible with more than 1,000 accessories designed for the iPod. Featuring “Auto-Sync” technology, the iPod nano can keep up to date with changes to your digital music library, podcasts and digital photos. The color screen enables users to view album art, photo slideshow and play built-in games in color. Apple estimates the rechargeable internal battery lasts for 14 hours at a stretch.

You can get yourself this new iPod online and at Apple retail store now. I might get this but I will be buying insurance with it because I know I will lose it given its so small.

All this stampede for some four year old laptops. As a result of this 17 people were injured and four needed treatment at the hospital. I bet most of these people went to get the $50 laptop in hopes of auctioning it off on eBay. The sale of these laptops was like what you would see at a line for concert tickets. I bet the next time they have a sale like this they will be really with riot police in tow.

“It’s rather strange that we would have such a tremendous response for the purchase of a laptop computer, and laptop computers that probably have less-than- desirable attributes,” said Paul Proto, director of general services for Henrico County commenting on the sale of the four-year-old machines.

This denial was because a similar method has been outlined in a Microsoft researcher’s patent application. So this looks like Microsoft will be getting some royalty payments for each and every iPods sold. This isn’t the first time that a company took too long to file an application for a patent and wind up not getting it.

The initial rejection of Apple’s patent, and the approval of Microsoft’s patent, could make it possible for other device makers to more closely follow the on-screen design of the iPod in their own music players. Microsoft works with hardware companies, including Royal Philips Electronics, Samsung Electronics, iRiver and others who use its digital-music software.
