If you were looking forward to watching Bo Bice at the Radio Music Awards show tonight, there’s some sad news for you. Bo has cancel his appearance to the show due to a trip to the hospital, just like Ashlee Simpson did for exhaustion.

Bice, 30, suddenly fell ill while attending a radio forum at the Aladdin hotel-casino in Las Vegas on Sunday. After coughing up blood, he was taken out on a stretcher and brought to Desert Springs Hospital, where his wife Caroline kept him company through the night.

Bice’s illness is believed to be a complication from emergency surgery he underwent in August to remove an intestinal blockage. He was hospitalized in Las Vegas just hours before an “American Idols Live” tour performance.
